Fuse box replacements
At Demand Electrical we only fit RCBO fuse boxes as appose to dual RCDs, there is a slight difference in price however we feel the benefits are justified.
There are two main benefits of using an RCBO fuse board, one being to reduce the risk of nuisance tripping. This can happen when multiple appliances are in use across various circuits protected by one RCD, causing it to operate due to excessive earth leakage
I am sure most households in Darlington have experienced a fault with their electrical system and lost power to various circuits lights, sockets, cooker and shower etc. In the event of a fault this is where you would benefit from an RCBO board as you would only lose power to the circuit with the fault and is therefore much easier to trace.
Surge protection is optional however it’s recommended for the small fee that it is.
